How much dust will there be?None. Water is used in the cutting process and is vacuumed up during the procedure. Do you cut from inside or outside?Usually we cut from the outside, keeping water and slurry outside. If cutting from inside is necessary, containment is done to prevent water damage. Will I be able to frame in the opening?Yes. We cut with diamond blades so the edges have a smooth finish, ready for framing. How much do I need to dig out for a basement door or window? For a door, you need to remove at least one foot wider to each side and at least 8 feet back from wall to be cut.
When should I call you?The best time to call is during excavation, therefore your excavation contractor can either bury your concrete slabs or take them away. Do you remove concrete?Yes. This is an additional service provided and must be included in our quote. Do you replace concrete?Yes. This is also an additional service provided and must be included in our quote. Do you only cut concrete? No, we cut most masonry materials including brick, granite and asphalt. |
